Accelerated Training

With this course you can finish four levels of certification in just seven months. This training is ideal for the non-employed, under employed or recent graduates.

How to register for Accelerated Training:

  • Complete the application (button below)

  • Create an NCCER account (see instructional document below)

    • Welding does not need to create an NCCER account

  • Bring your completed application, ID and tuition payment to the Southwest Training Center (222 Walcot Road, Westlake, LA)

Spring 2025:

  • Registration Opens October 1, 2024

  • Classes begin January 6, 2025

Accelerated Training Courses Offered

Electrical

  • Cost: $1,200

  • 4 levels in 24 weeks

  • 4 days per week (Monday - Thursday, 8am - 1pm)

Welding

  • Cost: $1,200

  • 4 semesters in 24 weeks

  • 4 days per week (Monday - Thursday, 1pm - 5pm)
